SLAIT Talking to is presently seeking a Helpdesk Specialist for any contract position in Richmond, Veterans administration.
Works together with clients to document and trobleshoot and fix IT related difficulties with software, server, computer, storage, telecommunication, and network system.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- React to phone calls, email, and personnel demands for tech support team.
- Identify, research and resolve intricacies.
- Evaluate, report and recommend changes and finest practices.
- Document, track, and monitor any intricacies and be sure a simple resolution.
- Help with installing network and computing devices, software and peripheral
- Help with administration of Firm's Local and Wide Area Systems (LAN/WAN).

: Bachelor's Degree in It or perhaps in related area with commensurate experience, or even the equivalent mixture of education and/or experience.

: 3-five years knowledge about setting up, troubleshooting, and looking after Microsoft Home windows Os's (mainly Home windows XP Professional).
: Contact with Home windows Server systems, MS Exchange, Active Directory and email systems.
: Contact with backup systems, anti-virus programs, web servers, network security and remote access solutions within an enterprise atmosphere. !
: Contact with network switches, hubs and fire walls.
: Knowledge of virtual machines.
: Microsoft or 'cisco' certifications an advantage.
: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
: Capability to work under limited supervision and included in a group.
